“Singing is spreading love”, says singer Rodney Druivendal (May 21, 1982, Paramaribo). He expresses the passion he has - sharing the love message - in his music.
Rodney Druivendal's trademark is his warm voice and captivating stage performance. Rodney was also part of ZO! Gospel Choir for a period of seven years, the most popular and best-known choir in the Netherlands. With ZO! Gospel Choir he has shared the stage with (inter)national stars such as Sam Smith, Oleta Adams, Ladies of Soul (Trijntje Oosterhuis, Edsilia Rombley, Glennis Grace, Berget Lewis and Candy Dulfer), Shirma Rouse, Hadewych Minis, Leona Philippo , Jamai Loman, Karin Bloemen, Rene Froger and Whoopi Goldberg.
Rodney Druivendal comes from a musical family, so it is not surprising that at the age of 11 he already performed as a soloist in churches and during funeral services. He has since grown into a refined singer. Rodney gets his strength mainly from his love for God. Besides Black gospel his repertoire consists of Soul, RnB, Motown, Surinamese and Dutch music.
Rodney performs as a soloist and is also part of the formation “Boys Harmony and Soul”.
